A new venue for the Group

From Thursday 29th July, the Group will be meeting at a new and very pleasant venue, the Kailash Centre in St John’s Wood.

We will be meeting each week on Thursdays, not on Tuesdays as before.

Day reatreat at Reading

Rev. Willard will be leading a day retreat for the London Group at Reading Buddhist Priory on Saturday March 27th.

The retreat will run from about 10am to about 4pm.

Our final meeting at the Yoga Therapy Centre (details below) will be on Thursday 19th March.

Our new venue will be in the meeting room above the Poetry Café in Covent Garden. (Map).

We will begin sitting there on TUESDAY 24th Feb. The room is not available for the 3rd March so we cannot meet there that evening. We will meet again on the 10th March and every Tuesday evening from then on.

We will have the room from 7pm and Zazen will start as usual at 7:30.

Rev. Willard, a senior monk based at Throssel Hole Buddhist Abbey, will be joining us for the meeting on October 9th.

Rev. Willard has suggested that we might wish to reflect on the following question in our daily life in the run-up to the meeting, and we can then have a discussion around this theme on the night:

“What, how, and where, do we find the relevance, the benefits and the intermingling of the practice of Serene Reflection Meditation in our day to day living and activity?”

As usual, we will meet up before the meeting at the vegetarian restaurant near the Yoga Centre for 6.30pm:
