Our altar

The London Serene Reflection Meditation Group meets each week to meditate together and deepen our practice of the Serene Reflection tradition of Buddhism (known as Ts’ao-Tung Ch’an in China and Soto Zen in Japan).

The group is affilliated with the Order of Buddhist Contemplatives.

Where and when

Every Thursday evening
The Kailash Centre, 7 Newcourt Street, St John’s Wood, NW8 7AA
Nearest tube is St. John’s Wood MAP
Please arrive around 7.15 for 7.30 start

1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. (Beginning 21st April)

NB
There will be NO Thursday evening meetings at the Kailash on 31st May, 14th June, 12th July and 23rd Aug.
On those weeks we will have our evening meetings at
Caledonian Road on TUESDAY 29th May, 12th June, 10th July and 21st Aug

 

Taking part

If you would like to take part in our practice you are welcome to attend the group meetings. The first time you come you will need to learn how to meditate in the Serene Reflection tradition. Someone will be available to give meditation instruction. This usually takes place at 7pm just before the group meets but please make an arrangement in advance by using the contacts below.
